Yesterday, May the 15th, Free Metal Albums turned three. I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for three full years already!

I’m really grateful to all of you who visit my blog, read, comment and suggest/submit new downloads. It really means a lot to me and it’s very appreciated! This blog wouldn’t be the same without you and I hope you’ll continue to visit as FMA grows.

Unfortunately I’ve just found out that one of my idols passed away today.

My condolences goes to the family, friends and fans of the great Ronnie James Dio.

Rest in peace.

Almost forgot it!…

I just want to thank all of our loyal readers and commenters, those who just stop by every once in awhile, and those who visit on a random whim.

I just finished cleaning up all the links to albums on Free Metal Albums from day one to the present. As of now, all album links (1875) are either working or marked as “No longer available” (314).

Most of the non-working links simply needed to be redirected so if you previously couldn’t connect to a web site to download an album you might want to check it again.

Now go fill up your hard drive. And remember to support the artists by buying their CDs or other merchandise, going to their concerts, sending them a donation, or, at the least, telling them how much your appreciate their music.
